Featured in The Globe & Mail, Dwell Magazine, and Arch Daily, the Ell House reflects a modern interpretation of the farmhouse style found throughout Prince Edward County, ON. A unique feature is the cladding, made of shou sugi ban – planks of cedar, charred using a Japanese technique that brings out the wood’s natural insect-and-rot resistance. 

Features: One wing of this L-shaped home features a great room with a vaulted wood ceiling and a twenty-foot-wide 3-panel patio door. The other wing includes four bedrooms along a window-lit hallway and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom overlooks the lake and has private access to the deck.
